Driver, Technical, Entry Regulations 2017

To enter Saint Goueno Hillclimb Masters  is simple, below is a guide of driver and vehicle requirements.

 

Driver documentation

The following must be produced at signing on;

A valid driving licence  (+ Photo copy).

A valid competition licence of National A grade issued by the MSA or Motor Sport Ireland (+ Photo copy).

European Health Insurance card (EHIC) (+ Photo copy).

 

Clothing

HANS device to be worn by drivers of all cars with the exception of*;

1. *Cars first manufactured before 1977.

Helmet which complies with current MSA requirement for hillclimbs with Hans posts (*see 1 above).

Race suit which complies with current MSA requirement for hillclimbs.

Gloves to FIA standard.

Drivers of single seaters & sports racers must wear a balaclava.

 

Competition car

The car must comply with the  hillclimb technical regulations of the MSA or MSI or FFSA, in addition they must also comply with the following. *

* Sand Racing type cars are not permitted.

 

Fire extinguisher

Closed, sports convertible and 7esque cars. . . 2kg hand held minimum.

Single seaters/sports racers . . . plumbed in 2kg minimum.

 

Harness:

Standard road cars . . . OE or FIA as below.

Modified saloons/sports . . . FIA 4 point Hans compatible, in date, (*see 1 above).

Single seater/sports racers . . . FIA 6 point Hans compatible, in date (*see 1 above).

 

Other:

All competitors must provide a fuel / oil proof sheet (tarpaulin) to go under car in paddock.

Rear view mirrors.

Clearly marked towing points.

Runs may or may not be timed.

Organizers sponsor stickers are to placed on the competition car in the position directed.

 

Entries:

Entries can only be accepted via the online form.

All driver candidates are required to pre-register, entries will be selected on 15/0//17.

Successful candidates will be notified by email.

Payment of entry fees must be made via the online facility which opens on 02/04/17 and will close 16/04/17

Non payment within this time will result in the offer of entry being forfeited.

Drivers must provide a good quality image of the car entered with their application.

Double drives are not permitted.

 

Entry fees:

The entry fee for 2017 is 250 Euros, this includes;

1: Participation in the Masters event.

2: Thursday evening Masters welcome party and meal (Driver + team)

3: Friday evening Concert and meal (Driver +1) – (Additional tickets available to purchase)

4: Sunday evening Wind – Down meal (Driver + team).

5: Shuttle bus (Navette) day service from paddock to start line (team mechanic only).

6: Shuttle bus evening service (Navette) to and from Paddock/Lodgings to the village (Driver + team).

7: Competition numbers.

8: Camping in paddock.

9: Hot showers in Saint Goueno campsite.

 

Refunds:

The entry fee is refundable subject to the following retention;

30% if cancellation is received by email before 31/04/2017.

50 % if cancellation is received by email between 01/05/2017 & 14/05/2017.

No refund will be given after 14/05/2017.

Refunds will be issued to the same credit/debit card used by the entrant.
